Voted for Udit. I have been his fan since I listened to him in Qayamat se Qayamat Tak. I was 9 when that movie released and he has remained my favourite. Udit has such a unique voice.
Earlier it was really easy to tell who is singing when you listen to a song. Nowadays, I don't even know the name of singers and cannot distinguish between voices. All sound the same now!

This is everyday discussion in my house. Hubby likes Udit and I am a
Fan of Kumar Sanu.

King of Melodies is only one and that's Sanu.

Kumar Sanu...he made Kishore Kumar alive again with his romantic voice and melodies

I like Udit too but hes a step behind Sanu

Udit for me.. he also had more longevity than sanu..

Kumar sanu dominated early 90s.. late 90s and 2000s were all about udit Narayan.. it didn't help kumar Sanus career when he refused to work with A R Rahman.. that actually landed a lot of work to udit and hariharan.

There is a song from Aashiqi.. called ab tere bin.

He sounds so much like kishore Kumar.. it's amazing..

BOTH were pioneers of quintessential Hindi film music, which had melody and soul Now it's era of stupid remixes. My fav of Udit- ae mere humsafar And Kumar Sanu- ab tere bin, even his Dard karara from Shubh Mangal savdhan was bloody awesome.
