Sanu is melodious. Every other romantic song in 90s, is Sanu. Him and Alka made a fantastic pair. Hubby says he is one-tone. I kinda partially agree but Sanu over Udit for me.

I still have these playlists and I have to listen to one or two songs everyday. Amazing.

It's definitely a hard choice.. that's why the only thing that decided for me was the longevity factor.. I personally love udit voice.. it sounded so young and unique..

Sonu is more learned singer technically than both Sanu and Udit but I feel he has less connect than them. Sonu is great too, just he falls short when coming to comparison with these two

Also Sonu Nigam better singer than both.. but generally better doesn't mean more fan following... so I agree with you there..

Yeah the best version is the Sonu Nigam one..

Kumar Sanu by miles for me. His voice transports you somewhere else. Its the perfect romantic voice if it makes sense. Depth and feeling through and through. Udit I feel is more of a happy voice. My absolute favorite is Hemanta though. Nobody will ever reach his level of soul. Rafi comes close too. But Hemanta Mukherjee's voice was something else.
