You cant single her out in a bollywood world whereeveres effed up.
End of the day hard work deserves appreciation.
The movie and her acting was unarguably the best to be seen with a female lead.

I have always had immense proud and power whenever Jhansi ki Rani is mentioned. Always a soft spot for her at same time. The way Lakshmibai answered the British,intimidated them for their wrong doings had me awestruck. The strengths were not only valour but how she was well read.
The preclimax scene, the war at Jhansi fort war awesome, better than the climax fight.When and where would you find women and girls fighting in battlefield along with men,only Rani Lakshmibai made it possible.
Watching Jhansi ki Rani is always a tearjerker for me,because we all know the outcome will be she will die. I neither could hold tears when I was kid when I use to watch Jhansi ki Rani by Varsha usgaokar nor Today by Kangana.

Everyone should watch this movie, for this generation, there won't be any Jhansi ki Rani coming in long time.

Dropped significantly on Sunday. This is trending like Race 2. And even in that case, Race 2 had much higher numbers 6 years back. If it wasn't for a practically (Thackeray is a non-starter) solo release, it would have been doing much worse.
