But he was doing only one film per year, so most efforts were put, with maintaining looks required, ( e.g. Mangal Pandey, Lagaan ) dance steps,.. ( such as Lagaan songs ) and there remained good masala stories, full-toss entertainment and full of geet-sangeet and all mix-material for all l generations to please da material with, hence Raja Hindustani, Dil , JJVS, QSQT and many movies worked for him,... but, In groups movies like, Dil Chahta hai, Three idiots, Rang de basanti,.. again,... he seemed just a common actor among others totally non-famous guys with him,... unlike Big B movies in those days,... in many of those,... with vinod mehra , even shashi, and few aaltoo-faltoo like Farookh shekh,... Big B always remained as predominant and hold a waaay upper handed star of his style, dialects and thick accents,...and others were looking like shitt and negligible in those movies and were going totally unnoticed,..

Be it,... others with him Shashi in Shaan and Naseeb and Namak Halaal,.., Shashi in Suhaag, and Sunil Dutt in Shaan, Vinod in Bemishaal and Jurmana,... Vinod khanna in khoon pasina and Hera-ferri,... Shatru in Naseb and Dostaana,.. Navin Nishchal in Desh-premi, shashi in kala paththar,... Farookh shekh in Toofan,...and Rishi in Coolie and kabhi-kabhi,... and many famous stars, Big B made unnoticeable, while sharing a screen with them,...as audience eyes clearly remained starve and search for Big B 's aura and aroma only,.. ! I remember, once there was even a fashion of asking a question to the audience leaving the theater watching " Toofan" - How did you Like Farrookh Shekh's work? Lol. The answer received was,... Whatt? Who ? Was he there, we never saw,.. or heard anybody by that name,...!

But here, even in his prime time and himself being a lead Khan as a hero,... we have seen,... dau kodi ke,... atul lulkarni, Sharman joshi and other aadhi roti waale stars in Three idiots, Rang De Basanti,..even hold the same importance,... while sharing screen with aamir,..

and,.. this all happened,. due to,... like this our B-loved, dedh-footiya also admits that,.. He just doesn't have style, that star-entry aura,...and height-body and personalty to make a super-duper entry on screen, and fata poster nikla Hero kind of aroma,... In recent TOH, he seemed no more than a " Dau rupaye ka Joker " like KRK used to say !! Lol...
