Aamir was a chocolate boy back then. I never liked their pair as I felt she looked older than him.

IMHO, aamir never looked as matching pair with Madz, Karishma and Pooja bhatt and many others, due to the duo's unmatched body chemistry and his choco-boy, infant like nipple-milk-bottle sucker looks,... and other co-worker very tall and double body-structure ( eg Pooja bhatt in DHKMN )

... though,despite of those turning out to be a super-hit movies , which was perhaps due to songs, directions and other factors,..

IMO, He only looked good ( as a perfect matching pair ) in commercial films, like,... QSQT with same child-look Juhi and JJWS with ayesha zhulka,.. etc...
