How can they be compared? Anushka is not from the film industry and has no connections to Salman other than doing one movie with him. Sonam has known him her entire life and he is friends with her father. She genuinely likes him and probably doesn't believe the bad stuff.

Not only that, Anushka is antisocial and I hardly ever hear her saying good things about anyone, let alone Salman.

Sonam is a grownass woman who should know what entails when you write 'you are the best' to someone driving their car over 6 people and is convicted for it. Probably doesn't believe the bad stuff? What kinda ass logic is that? LOL. Are you serious? She's not two that she cant figure out if it's okay to support convict uncle Salman or not. Please. On basic humanitarian grounds,she is wrong.

Yeah that's my point. She's a whole hypocrite so she proclaiming herself to be an ally of women when she isnt, trying to make fake woke twitterati believe she's doing something when she has fingers in both pies is my issue. Just making movies with women cussing doesnt make one a feminist or an ally.

This is a very legitimate and valid concern.

When do you think a person should write and speak about feminist values? What is your expectation here of Sonam - that she should stop trying to be a feminist? Or that she needs to improve herself and her notion of feminism?

She would believe ppl close to her till d accusation is proven... What kinda person she will b if she ditch her frnds n family at the first sight of distress...

Whatever you are saying n accusing is based on the tid bits u gt from sns n tabloids n she is supporting them based on her personal experiance.

To this I'd say she should be staying out of it if she isn't sure... because she IS a Public Person of note and she can influence people one way or another. She can support them morally in private and keep quiet on SM.

if she is sure the person is innocent.. but 100% sure .. then yes.. I can see why she'd agree.. but if she is NOT.. then do NOT sway opinion for personal reasons.. not in serious issues.

She is cute and has done a lot of silly statements that is for sure. She needs to grow out of that and take stock of how her stardom can affect positively or negatively a big issue... a fight for righting wrongs.

If EVERYONE shrugs their shoulders and continues to allow men to do as they please JUST BECAUSE they are powerful or have connections or make Blockbusters... then we are failing our fellow humans ... as people with own dreams and desires for us and our loved ones.

Not everyone is a monster.. not everyone is a saint.

But when grave issues are discussed... frivolitism or ... biased views can affect the general outcome.

Just my 2 cents.

Again. What kinda logic is this. In her recent metoo essay she says that people should call out people close to them too,they shouldn't fear hurting someone. 😆

And Salman was convicted the day she wrote 'you are the best' guess she knows more than our court of justice. 😆

And ofcourse I'm basing my opinions of her based on her actions on social media because that's where she is chanting and being fake woke. I don't know her personally neither do you. So where'e the benefit of the doubt coming from. Calling random men on the internet harassers is okay but calling out family and friends is not? Changing agenda,much? If one only speaks up for brownie points and following a different guideline for different situations,thats fake and selective activism. If someone goes to Sonam and tells her your friend did this to me, she's gonna believe the friend but then write essays next day saying 'women deserve out support. Believe the victims'. That's a MeToo ally?

And to answer your question, what kinda human being she would be if she ditches her family and friends who have allegations of abuse against them? The one who doesn't support the accused. The one who listens to the victim and doesnt like posts that imply the woman is lying in a place like Bolly were she herself says women find it hard to come out.

That's the person she would be. A true ally.

The defences really dont work after her liking that Hirani post. Nah.
