to play the Devil's advocate, I don't think she is in position to ignore questions regarding Ranbir, given how she and her hubby have been pally pally with Ranbir and his current girlfriend.
I mean she was even agreeing to go on vacation with Kjo, Aloo and Ranbir, taking along Ranveer.
So avoiding the question would have been even more stupid.
My personal theory is she wanted to make it like she gets why Ranbir didn't attended, and she has no issues with that.
But her inability to word it better, made it look like she is still putting her and his relationship on certain privileged pedestal of her life.

I love Deepika but I do accept the fact that she is a poor communicator.

She is stupid. Really what kind of answer is that!

Have some Self respect woman! That man wished you and Ranveer point bluntly to get married and have kids in KWK. He had 3 women in his life after you. He is in a serious relation with another woman now. When will she get the point that the man has zero interest in her. I dont know about depression but she is definitely oppressing RK, Alia and RS with her psychotic behavior. You are married now atleast stop embarrassing your husband. If not anybody else!

Katrina is getting my respect now. She has not looked back and even when she spoke recently, she spoke in such a dignified way.
