Secondly young kids (future cinegoers) are much more familiar with the young gen actors than the Khans. They connect more easily with the younger lot than the Khans. They are social media savy so in the future I think social media response/trends/reactions would play a huge part in box office collections. TOH and Race 3 trailers, songs were not well recieved on social media and box office numbers reflected this.And I believe the same thing, social media popularity of actors will reflect their stardom and popularity... In the social media era actors are personable, friendly, accessible, to the fans. Their emotional connect with actors would be stronger because of this accessibility. Stars are not idols or gods they are humans just like us. Stars are like our friend or brother. They have the same interest, they have the same difficulties, their lives are normal just like. The next gen stars would attain a different kind of stardom. Their stardom would not be based on hero worshipping but based on the down to earth nature and realtibility of the star to them. Diva like snobbish arrogant attiudes will not make star material in this era that is for sure. I believe star system is not going anywhere. Khans would reverred and loved but just like yesteryear superstars before the Khans there era would end.
