It makes no sense to me why some are getting excited over 50 day opening for TOH.

First of all - ticket prices have been raked up and that itself will obviously result in a higher amount plus it's a holiday

Understand that even if TOH earn 180 it will still flop. Even if opening day was 80 crore - still a flop folks.

Secondly - we have to look at "the entire run of the film 2-3 weeks. Let's not go overboard and get excited over a one day figure. Because just like with PRDP and race3 it means nothing

The film should also earn respect - which it isn't. Films like TOH may earn lots of money but when you take into account the budget even 50cr is not enough 😆 plus the public hates it.

A film that didn't even earn 100 cr like Andhadhun will be more respected, celebrated and appreciated 😆

I'd also stop including PRDP in these lists. It was a Hit at the BO and was a decent movie. Not in the same lines as Race 3 or Tubelight.

TOH prices were not that hiked compared to TZH. I paid double the price for the same show slot in the same theater for TZH while paid half of it for TOH.

Comparing it to crap movies like Race 3 or PRDP is illogical as Salman's both movies had absolutely no story wherein PRDP had a father with too many illegal children and I never got why Race 3 was even made. TOH was below the expectations of many as people expect a lot from Aamir and compared to Dhoom 3, TOH was better. Worst to worst, it can be compared to Dabbang 1 and 2 wherein both were nonsensical movies but still managed to earn money.

You assume that even if it did 80cr, lifetime would be just 180cr? You think this is Salman 😆

Movie will do much more than 180cr and will be a hit

If you talk about respect than baring bhajrangi, sultan all Salman movies were trashed. This was still better than those.

And the opening argument applies to all movies but when Salman was giving only opening day or weekend and then crashing hard, you didn't bother to make this thread. At that time lifetime was bashed as only opening determined star power and now opening doesn't matter because it's aamir who did it 👏

the budget is 220cr..it will be a flop at even 215cr

hit is out of Q with this sort of huge drop on day 2

also Bajrangi and sultan had good WOM..bajrangi was widely praised..i am no salman fan but please TOH having more respect than Bajrangi is a joke..it is being trashed by every critic and almost every public review is bad..

i do feel it will struggle to go past 200cr..

as TM said..do not be fooled by opening day number..this movie's 3rd fri may as well end up being lower than raazi or stree's 3rd fri..talk about sustaining..not just day 1

It won't flop!

Tm is saying even if it's declared hit, he won't accept also was quite for all these years when Salman was giving only opening records but didn't make this thread
