Listen atm the whole film making business is a bigger scam than the one lawyers pull. The whole PR relationships, articles, fake public reviews, paid influencers and "big" opening days with empty theatres at least some of the times, are all designed to create this illusion that a film is All that ...when its not.

Pull maximum people into the theatres and earn as much as possible in the first week before someone starts saying *****oh but this sh*t aint very good after all.**

Why else do they want more and more screens in India? There's enough shows in malls. People say we ought to build more hospitals, schools etc then why movie people are always asking for more screens? Is it because the ppl must be pulled into the theatres ASAP before the illusion is broken?

Is this going to happen? Can it happen sooner? LOL! I have been screaming since 2007 about this whole opening day BS. It's nice to see people finally waking up to BS.

Who remembers Om Shanti Om's opening day numbers or that Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani was even a hit? Who remembers? 😆 Who remembers Chak De or Wake up Sid had bad opening? What do you remember? 😛
