One should always try to be humble and grateful because you never know when life will change. Kohli is just a regular human being so he will also face ups and downs. Just because he had a great year doesn't mean that he can make such arrogant statements. Nobody should/can be sent anywhere for voicing their opinion. Virat should be secure enough in his success to give a mature answer.
I do agree that all his actions/statements are highly scrutinized but what else do you expect when you're someone that the whole country looks up to?

But obviously isn't that what the guy meant? The Indian players? He is talking about Indian players vs foreign players. Why would he suddenly randomly mean general Indian population? He means the players right?

This thread goes on to show how people's mind is full of s**t nowadays ...yahan bhi sanghi, tukde tukde gang, jnu etc etc ghusa diya 👎🏼 how does one know the guy was from jnu and how does one know that kohli is sanghi ?
OT : Even virat preferred to have his wedding outside india , his favourites players are from outside india ...so what a dumb statement to make

And apparently when he was playing for the under 19 team he was asked who his favorite player was and at that time when we had ppl like Sachin, Rahul, Ganguly playing he sd Herschel Gibbs. Then no one asked him to leave the country or say he was from JNU or from tukde tukde gang. So many people used to criticize Sachin. I would feel bad and defend him but I never asked anyone to leave the country even though they like Steve Waugh better!!! It's crazy now. Anything u say u r told u are traitor and should leave the country.

The correct term is 'hypernationalist'.
