😆 nah this term is there to satisfy fans that there fav's movie is working and for haters to cherish the flop. Such an environment friendly term it is everyone is happy with the outcome.

If u see the old verdict of films amitabh's era everything that recovers money was termed as hit. And so is the average but people were not really aware or interested in verdixt they were just worried about films. Now these terms are needed to fight on social media 😆

That's so true, I mean after Thursday-Fri negativity I was so sure ki gayi SD😆 but guess it was mainly match final, the thing is this record used to limit his choices as ppl(trade & Papa Dhawan 😆) puts too much pressure, guess he has stop paying that much heed & choosing all kind of films, streak jab tak chalni hogi it will continue, Kalank is promising for BB tag but Infinity War 2 is releasing a week apart😆 lets see

Can someone show me proof that Rajesh's 15 hits were not clean hits? Because none of that information is actually online just some Varun fans making up stuff.

The term successful is used quite loosely on this forum.

In order to challenge Rajesh' record an actor would need HITS. CLEAN HITS = Hit, Superhit or Blockbuster...Not Averages, Not Semi-Hit's - nothing like that.

I've seen you crying over this many times. So let me make it clear. A film getting Average or above verdict is called a success, because the movie doesn't lose any money. It recovers all it's cost, even if doesn't make any extra profit. And a film becomes a HIT when it makes double of it's investment. A movie doesn't need to become a Clean Hit to become a success. Even Rajesh Khanna's 15 consecutive Hits are not actually "Hits". Media hypes them as Hits, but they are actually success in trade language.

Since last evening, several readers have been asking us about Rajesh Khanna's 15 back-to-back hits. Actually, he had about 16 consecutive hits, one film in between (The Train) was an above average grosser.

His hit spree started in 1969 and went on till 1971-72. In those 3-4 years, Khanna appeared in about 17 films (not including special appearances) and all of them were successful. A record that still stands unbroken today, more than 4 decades and several superstars later!

I don't think that information is correct.

Also - even if Varun has 11 "hits"...he is still behind Ranbir and Ranveer who have bigger flops so. Not sure what Varun fans are trying to prove, I think even Tiger gave a bigger opening than Varun too. He's not even in the top 2 LOL!

Same initially even I thought that here comes our first flop, but bach gaye😆.

He said na in some interview that he does try not to think about this record, but then everyone asks him in interviews and then he feels pressurized. I am sure he gets very nervous during his releases, one side this media people and ghar me his dad😆😆

I am just glad that his friends and some other people push him to do films like October and badlapur. Also now I feel he is not scared of failures,Good for him and us⭐️
