Whatever was shown in the movie was to tell the story of Sanjay Dutt and they showed it whether in a comic way or whether in a serious way and if they showed it in a comic way, they did so as everything being serious would be boring to watch. While telling a story, it has to be presented in a way that defines entertainment and does not appear as a documentary like Crime Patrol. That's what he did and I did not think he tried to whitewash Sanjay Dutt's crime but in fact showed how insensitive he was to have drugs in his mother's hospital room. But people want to have an issue in any case just like PK so he should barely ignore such statements and enjoy the success.
