I don't understand this " I was offered" drama. It does nothing and means nothing. In the end who did it is what matters. Harping on something which wasn't yours is being jealous or immaturity.

Deepika is beautiful in her own way. People says aish would have justified the princess for whom wars can be fought..sorry to say aishwarya's beauty is all in makeup. She is overrated.

Bhansali made DP look bad as Padmavati. I wonder he would have done with Ash. ARH looked stunning not only coz she is prettier but the costumes were way better and she didn't look like a christmas tree with bad eyebrows.

Although I agree, Aish would have been a better choice. People came back praising ARH more than Deepika after the movie.

Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat may have worked same with a different Khilji or Bajirao. They wouldn't have been half as big hits without Deepika. She had half baked characters, but the film was entirely sold on her name, look and Deewani Mastani/Ghoomar.

Aishwarya in her prime time/younger years would have been perfect for these roles but as of right now, she doesn't look like the dainty ethereal beauty the characters were meant to be.

Aishwarya is not only the Beauty worthy enough for a Khilji to go crazy but also better actress than one-tone Deepika. Watch her performance in Guzaarish n Devdas. She is a fabulous actress. Deepika was good in Ram Leela but was sleep walking in both Bajrao Mastani n Padmavat. She says her dialogues as if she just learnt it by rote learning n says it without any feel or emotions.

But, having said that, i dont think it is cool to talk about films where u were first choice. And Ash has done this twice. Even saying that she turned down HNY which went to DP. It is not a nice thing to do.
