Well what can I say...will have to agree to disagree here...the day Alia actually starts to act well I'll be the first one to say that...but as of now..she can't...any average tv bahu csn Act better than Alia...she should thank her lucky stars that kjo is backing her...the movie was good solely coz the real sehmat's story was beyond amazing...plus every other actor except Alia acted really well...feel feee to disagree with me though :)

There you go for nain mataka expressions don't make people great actors. Just because Madhuri could roll her eyes in a seductive or smile beautifully doesn't mean she was the best actor out there winning awards for not so great acting in a Beta or Dil or HANK or DTPH.
You are acting as if I said Alia in Raazi acted better than Sri Devi in Lamhe or Sabhana Azmi in Ankur or Meena Kumari in SBAJ. Comparing her acting in Raazi with any of the Madhuri's overrated commercial works is no crime.

Madhuri was an overrated actor, who benefited from the commercialism in awards, or else she would not should not have won any award. Neither Juhi or Raveena for that matter. I don't deny her fandom, and how she made whole country crazy for her. But when it comes to acting she was not that great, she was just an above average actress with great commercial value. If Alia's acting is getting overrated, same was truth for Madhuri. If we call out one, than we should call out everyone. Why single out just Alia??

Firstly Alia is not the best actress out there, but she is definitely giving better acting performances than Madhuri than did with the likes of DTPH, HANK, Dil or Beta.


No it is like claiming Harry Kane is as good as Michael Owen was during his prime when it comes to acting.


Madhuri is not a Lionel or Cristiano of acting, please don't insult the craft of acting by making such claims.

I'm not even Madhuri's fan but she was almost worshiped in the 90s. No other actress saw that kind of super-stardom. Even today, no actress comes close to that kind of fame.

Aloo is a KJO creation, the public did not or does not have enough choices. Otherwise a girl who looks like Aloo will never, ever become a BW heroine let alone a top tier one. She would have become a Shabana or a Tabu because of her acting. Hell even Vidya with her acting prowess has not gone as high as Aloo if suddenly an actress was so much in demand she will be close to #1. Aloo is no one without KJO. The public accepted because they had few choices and she is the better out of the bad out there. Let us see now with actual competition from someone like Jhanvi how she will fare. Jhanvi who comes with the might of Sridevi legacy and BO receipts in the South too. Finally some actual competition.

Despite all the above, the reason I respect Aloo is because of @Bold. Plus she is a hard worker.
