You're talking about them getting friendlier with time, then why did Sanjay himself say that during the shoot of Gumraah, their conversations were limited to just hi and bye and after the final chase sequence was shot, Sridevi left his hand immediately as soon as the director said cut and she still wasn't friendly with Sanjay? Maybe because they both were professional and did not let their problems interfere in their work and the story they liked.Also she left the industry after Judaai. There were many chances in the eightees where Sanju and Sri could've worked. She was a superstar, he was an upcoming heartthrob.
