I am so mad at her. First she doesnt deliver in Sarbjit and Jazbaa - I mean I guess I am the only one in the world who thought she did well but I guess I dont know anything. Then she did well in ADHM but received no credit and it didnt benefit her career at all.
Now she once again is doing a dumb movie like Fanney Khan - which is probably not even going to make 10 crores. She also forgot how to dance cuz she looks awkward in the movie...

On top of that her social media is an epic fail - Manushi Chillar Miss World for not even a year has the same followers as her.

I know everybody here hates Aishwarya and wishes the worst for her- but its so hard as a fan to see your favorite fall and fall and fall further. I am not going to be in denial like most crazy fans are but I think its official to say that its over for her...I know what you all will say "its been over since 2005" yeah whatever...but I am giving up...

This is what my life has come...I have had to stop being a Ash fan and now I am a Alia fan.

When Aishwarya won Miss World Alia was 1 years old...and today Alia is more successful than Ash😭

Ever heard of seasons in life ?
Ash is 44, she is a mother, acting and a career clearly does not hold as much store for her as it did at 25 which is Alia's age.

Who knows what Alia will be like at 44.

Choices, priorities, seasons of life all make a difference in what people want and I do think both Alia and Ash are at a place very few woman are at. So don't cry them both a river.

Is this some kind of a reverse psychology, trying to get Aishwarya praised? Otherwise what, Aalia more successful than Aishwarya? How?😛😆

Good you clarified it, now no one will hopefully bash Ash in return because you bashed their favourite star. 😆

Jokes apart, Aishwarya's world changed when Aaradhya happened to her. It was like everything else became secondary, and her whole world revolves around Aaradhya. Can you believe it if I said she has not spent a single night away from Aaradhya in all these 6 years? Remember, she was the same ambitious woman who did 5 major films in a single year even after marriage and was going to work during her pregnancy too (on Heroine). But when Aaradhya happened, everything changed.

First she takes a 5 year long break. Then she insists on dropping and picking up Aaradhya from school. She tells filmmakers that she can only work on outdoor schedules when Aaradhya has holidays. A couple of days ago, Anil Kapoor said Ash had a lot of conditions about schedules but he really really wanted her in the movie, so he said yes to them all. How many producers will put up with such a star? She was recently offered Salute opposite SRK, which required her to do a two-month long outdoor schedule in Russia. Guess what happened later? Your guess is as good as mine.

However, all said and done, she still wants to work. Just not at the pace during her prime. She has achieved enough in life, and wants to bask in motherhood, and continue to be a working woman; except she can afford to take a couple of years off her career and return when she likes. She is still doing pathbreaking work for a 40 year old actress. ADHM was a bold step. Fanney Khan - a 45 year old woman is not playing a stereotypical sister or bhabhi or mother role - but a glamorous role that could be played by a 25 year old, romancing a Rajkumar Rao who's in his 30s. She is silently breaking that mould that you need to do a certain kinds of roles post motherhood.

All said and done, how many interesting leading roles do we come across today for a middle-aged actress? She is not a Rani or a Kajol with her husband producing her movies. So I won't completely blame her. She is picking the best of offers, those that fit in her schedule and give her creative satisfaction.

Bottom-line: She still continues to be extremely popular; she has built a legacy. Fans will come and go (and probably only go), but she is here to stay and will continue to tread her own trajectory.

lol..she was never an actress to begin with. she was just forced on us poor janta as an actor, and did we even have a choice.
she is a beauty queen, a model, a brand, and she is delivering her best , come Cannes, Longines shoot, etc...she excels there. but when it comes to acting she simply sucks, so most her movies bomb.

Exactly.
Ash is Alia without KJO and without Kjo alia is nothing.😆

What's there to be embarrassed about? She's a middle-aged woman and she was never a great actress. Her strength was always her beauty and dancing but those aspects are not really needed in most Hindi films for older roles. ADHM was perfect for her and she was excellent in it but she won't be able to build upon it because more of those types of roles don't exist.

Jazba and Sarbjit were a misfire because Ash started thinking of herself like a thespian which she is not. Nobody wants to see her screeching on screen with gray hair. She's not going to be able to compete with people like Vidya or Tabu so it's best avoided.

Her best bet would be working opposite Salman and SRK because they need older commercial leading ladies. Salman obviously has to be avoided so that's a no go and SRK barely makes one movie a year.

I know a lot of people say this but AIshwarya WAS/IS an actress. There are several films she has done well in . Just because you personally dont like her doesnt mean shes not an "actress"

If she was that bad she would never win awards for acting...just like Katrina, Shraddha, Jacky havent etc etc. Awards are useless but they wont give an acting award to someone who genuinely sucks -thats why Katrina hasnt won lol

She does have some pretty strong performances behind her...however...I dont like how shes handling her career...I know her daughter is important but she needs to relax and be okay with leaving her sometimes. I dont like the way shes handled her career since 2010. Now I am slowly giving up
