I mean I have a friend who can mimic alot of actors so thats why I dont think much of. Lots of comedians on that Comedy Circus show do mimicry too...Its a great art form and I support it - it just doesnt do anything for me. I think its much harder to paint a picture for a character that has no reference or any homework. When you make films like Bajirao or Jodha Akbar- you have nothing to refer to, you have to really dig within yourself to paint a picture for the audience. So you cant say that "copying" someone is easier, because not knowing how to do something is hard than knowing ,seeing and copying a reference point.
Again - I am not taking anything away from Sanju or saying that its "easy". I know Ranbir has done well and he will sweep all the awards and I am happy for him. I personally want a tie between Ranbir/Ranveer and I will have the biggest fan moment ever!... I agree though - the next few films of both Ranbir/Ranbir are what important. Sanju/Padmavat are not the determining points...its the next few years that will really paint a clearer picture. Although they both are defiantly kilometres ahead of the other guys like Varun, Arjun, Sid, Sushant, Shahid, etc etc etc
To say that Ranbir and Ranveer are each others competition is a huge compliment to both...I for one cannot see the likes or Varun or Arjun doing a Barfi, Sanju or Bajirao.
