He even looks like one IRL without makeup and photoshop 🤣🤣🤣

With Barfi I agree. Ranbir was phenomenal in that movie!... Maybe Sanju too ( I haven't seen it so cant comment) ...but Ranbir also cannot pull off a Padmavaat or even something rustic like BBB or Ram Leela. I cant see him doing something even like Gunday - he cant pull that off. I cant see him pulling off a King like Bajirao either - he doesn't have it in him.

I could be wrong but I just cant see it. Ranbir adds too much feminity to his character, I am not saying that's a bad thing, but sometimes he does not come across as MANLY as Ranveer does. Remember how this forum tore him apart for his "girlish" dancing in Channa Mereya - and I was one of the only people defending him cuz his character was drunk lol...But yeah that's why I cant see him in a lot of "manly" roles, he's good in the man-child/confused charactes. I am not saying he's a bad or anything, but he just wouldn't work in those roles and someone like SLB can see that too.

Ranbir/Ranveer are both talented in different ways...and they cant replace each other, they both fill two different voids we have in the industry.

I think its unfair to say Ranbir is miles and miles ahead of Ranveer. I think both are very strong, both of them won Best Actor in the 4th year in the industry. They are far more superior to Varun, Arjun and all the rest.

If bulking up and trying to act sober is the milestone of playing a king, then it's just a cakewalk for Ranbir.
Before watching Sanju, I just couldn't imagine what he would have looked trying to play a beefed up Sanjay Dutt but he has playing it to perfection.
He is indeed miles and miles ahead of actors in this generation.

Well that's only your version of thinking. You don't see this, you can't imagine that etc. But untli he do some king kinda role, it is unfair to say that he is not able to pull off these kinda roles. Until Sanju happened, nobody could not believe that he will portrait Sanju this much well. And it is quite visible that how difficult was to portrait that role is.

Also, it is visible that playing some kinda king role is not that tough than portraying another person or mimicking him. Playing king role has more liberty than playing a role of a superstar.

Bajirao was not a easy role lol, You have to some innate qualities in order to play a king, I dont think Ranbir has the physicality or the stature to pull it off, as I said he comes across as feminine most fo the time, Even fans were mad that he made Sanju look feminine in parts. Nothing wrong with being feminie- but I dont even think he can do a Simbaa lol

Someone like Varun cant do Bajirao...neither can Sushant. So you cant realy say its not "tough"

Again I may be wrong and I am also NOT discrediting his performance in Sanju the way you are discredting Bajirao.
