With Barfi I agree. Ranbir was phenomenal in that movie!... Maybe Sanju too ( I haven't seen it so cant comment) ...but Ranbir also cannot pull off a Padmavaat or even something rustic like BBB or Ram Leela. I could be wrong but I just cant see it. Ranbir adds too much feminity to his character, I am not saying that's a bad thing, but sometimes he does not come across as MANLY as Ranveer does. Remember how this forum tore him apart for his "girlish" dancing in Channa Mereya - and I was one of the only people defending him cuz his character was drunk lol...But yeah that's why I cant see him in a lot of "manly" roles, he's good in the man-child/confused charactes. I am not saying he's a bad or anything, but he just wouldn't work in those roles and someone like SLB can see that too.


Ranbir/Ranveer are both talented in different ways...and they cant replace each other, they both fill two different voids we have in the industry.

I think its unfair to say Ranbir is miles and miles ahead of Ranveer. I think both are very strong, both of them won Best Actor in the 4th year in the industry. They are far more superior to Varun, Arjun and all the rest.

Someone like Varun cant do Bajirao...neither can Sushant. So you cant realy say its not "tough"

Before watching Sanju, I just couldn't imagine what he would have looked trying to play a beefed up Sanjay Dutt but he has playing it to perfection.

He is indeed miles and miles ahead of actors in this generation.

Hrithik already played a king role with full of succession before RS joining the movie industry. also saying other actors feminine will not decrease their performance ability. if creating a post on the acting of a man-child will hamper them, then Ranbir would not be praised so largely from every section of the audience.
