Yeah there were quite a few stories about Shahid being concerned about the importance of his role. Anyway, I remember this Faridoon interview from around Tamasha and he asked Imtiaz and RK about DP fueding with AB Snr during Piku and Imtiaz was like 'LOL, I can't imagine Deepika doing that 😆' From everything I know about DP I also can't imagine it. Even post Padmaavat SLB when talking about DP brought up how quiet she is and just there to do her job.

i saw on youtube as well, with headline, deepika removed vicky from padmavaat.

she is very close of shahid and wanted him instead of vicky

its good vicky didn't do padmaavat...such a terrible movie.

Yep besides there was a lot of trash written about PV, the infamous dream sequence 😡 Also, those articles claimed she refused VK because of the long and "intense love-making" scenes she had with her husband like.. like we all saw how sombre and staid their romance was portrayed.. nothing remotely resembling intense sex, the shit they come up with 😆 Ofc SLB doesn't let anyone fiddle with his vision, he doesn't even listen to the producers, and seeing how much of her screentime he chopped off, doesn't seem like he would let her dictate him demands like that!

How cleverly people diverted this topic to a deepika bashing one from the fact that vicky is a nepo kid..

The same people made spoof posters of ranveer singh saying he is chichoru and what not..

A part of me is sad that he didn't do it because I want him and DP to work together but it's better if it's something well written and directed. DP went to Masaan's screening so she's seen him in action. And according to Rajeev she might work with Masaan's director and since directors like working with the same people he should cast Vicky please @ movie Gods.

When I went searching for a reliable source I saw this as a reason why she would prefer SRK, but in interviews DP has repeatedly said that a kissing scene is the same as any other scene whether it's talking, crying etc and she doesn't approach it differently.

Vicky is not a star-kid. But his father is a much-revered technician who works with every top PH and has won several awards. Nevertheless, he does not have the clout to launch his son or push his career. Vicky definitely had the advantage of being an industry insider and knowing the right people. But the main reason he has come this far is his talent and versatality.

However, the real reason why there is no halla over him is that he is still a secondary player in bollywood. Let him deliver one or two solo hits first, he will not be spared.

They were also not HEROES for which their Kids are referred like that, Every profession in Industry has it's merit & every relative of these ppl fall in this category?

People misunderstand the meaning and the use of STAR...anyone who excels in any field is a STAR...so one can be a star actor or a star director or a star write or a star sportsperson or a star dancer...STAR doesn't mean the hero or who is shown on screen...and yes Salman Khan is the son of a star...Salim-Javed were as big as you can get in the field of writing and screenplays in BW...just recall their movies and you will get what I am saying...

Having said that...star kids are unfairly targeted on this forum...no one can make it big if the audience doesn't love them...That is why the son of the biggest star that India has...AB Jr didn't make it but an outsider like SRK made it...it is useless to crib on who is a starson or is not...unless of course someone is lying about it and trying look as an outsider.
