Also her hindi is fine. Sounds like mine 😆😆 Someone who knows how to read and write in it, but doesn't use it for speaking that often. So that slight English tinge is there. Basically a lack of fluency.

+1. I really like how sorted she is from what I've seen so far and pretty down to earth. Hope the movie does well for the two of them!

This interview made me emotional. The way Janhvi conducts herself, her quiet demeanour and grace reminds me of Sri. Also, the way she sometimes awkwardly finishes answering a question is so similar to her mother. From the interview, she seems to be a very sweet girl, no arrogance and thankful for the opportunity she has been given.
Being an ardent Sridevi's fan, I've been looking forward to Janhvi's debut. In my opinion, Sri was the most complete actress India had. I miss seeing Sri onscreen. I hope Janhvi can somehow fill the void left by her mother. I wish her success for her career and I hope she makes a place for herself in Bollywood. She has acted well in the trailer and I look forward to the movie and more of her in future.

Star kids irritate the hell out of me, but I knew there's a reason why I wasn't bothered by this kid.
Interview aside, one of the reasons I like her ... her fashion sense off screen. I have always seen her and her mother being so fashionable in events .. that seeing her in humble outfits always take me by surprise ... I don't know why. Maybe I expected her to be always in typical western outfits?

Personality wise, she is gonna give tough competition to SAK's daughter. That one seems more bratish.

If people with really bad "acting debuts" (both star-kids and non-star kids) could go on to do tons of films till they managed to get that one film that changed people's perception of their skills, Janhvi isnt half as bad. Mediocre, but not terrible.
More importantly, she doesn't seem to have that "jealous-competitive" vibe about her. Someone mentioned her similarity with Arjun as a person and while we can never really know them as people, I think to some extent this reminded me of arjun. She too seems to be the sort who won't have that petty, all-consuming and bitter competitive approach and is more of a "apna kaam karte raho, bas" type of person . More than anything, any appreciation or awards or box office success, this nature is what will keep you sane in the long run - once your career has peaked and ebbed.

That whole bit was really sweet- even the one where she spoke about him messsaging her right after the interviewer messaged arjun. With arjun being so vocal on Twitter and instagram, it was almost beginning to feel one-sided and a little unbelievable to a lot of people, but to finally have her sharing tidbits such as meeting up in London etc, it feels genuine.

And it is nice to see how she is so.. smothered by love and support from the entire family - both her dad and mum's side. All these small things - such as vacationing with your siblings and cousins - makes a lot of difference to one's state of mind before a hectic promotional tour.

I never like sridevi so I was set on disliking her but I really like her. I am super impressed by a hindi interview. We saw she had difficulty speaking in the past. I worry about her. She does seem very fragile. When you are this fragile comments will hurt you no matter how strong you try to be. This can be a bigger problem later. I hope she remains strong. All the best to her!

Absolutely wowed by her humility! She is eager to learn, improve and do sincere work and deserves all the chances she gets. Its really surprising how I thought of Janhvi as someone who would have a sense of entitlement about her, but she is a total opposite of that. Her down to earth attitude will definitely take her places. Wishing her all the luck for Dhadak and her career ahead ⭐️

Yes her delicate fragility, that 'nazukpan' Sri could obviously see, is very visible. She reminds me of a little fluttering baby bird. Just sweet. 😳

She reminds me so much of Sridevi in this interview.
Also, her hindi is quite good. In the trailer, her hindi as well as her voice disturbed me, so this interview indeed surprised me.
She comes across as a very down to earth, humble person.
Gosh, I suddenly miss Sri so much! Can't believe she's no more 😭

This is a very good interview... she comes across so well, and lovely. And as someone said she has this soft quality about her, which i hope remains!!! And those big eyes is something else.

With each interview she will get better and better, in herself and in her speaking as well. Her hindi is already good! (and she knows she will be asked about her mother, and it was the first time at the trailer launch, and it was overwhelming for her and everyone)

I think what she says about the main advice her mother gave her made so much sense and important - That to be a good actor, you need to be a good person, because the camera never lies!!
