Enjoyed every bit of the twenty minute interview. I've tried my best to not like her because she is Sridevi's daughter and I genuinely found her to be good as a debutant in the Dhadak trailer but while watching this interview, I couldn't help but see flashes of Sridevi in her. The whole interview reminded me of the level headedness with which Sridevi used to conduct her interviews without a hint of pretence.

One can call it upbringing or training or whatever, I've never felt so good while watching a newbie's interview in the recent times. I remember watching this old interview of Sridevi where she talks about Janhvi liking old films and that's exactly what she said in the interview. She is also very camera friendly and speaks good hindi unlike what bothered me in the trailer.

I might sound like a broken record now while saying that it would be unfair to expect her to be another Sridevi instead of Janhvi and I personally see no resemblance between her and her mother except the eyes but I just couldn't stop myself from being emotional while watching the interview as it reminded me so much of her mother, especially the part where she said that Sridevi was probably waiting to watch the whole film before giving her feedback.

If she stays the same like this and works with honestly like she has been saying in the interview, she will go really far! Best wishes to her!

Also, since I'm clearly the one most excited about the film in this forum (😆) , I guess I'll make this into a Dhadak interview update thread where I'll keep posting all interviews of the star cast? Will not make the forum messy with too many topics of Dhadak then I guess.

This was a good interview. I really like her. She comes across as level headed and actually smart about where she's at and where she's headed. And there is also a sense of humbleness in her.

There were pauses or awkwardness in the way she would end her answers. I don't know if that was because she might not be comfortable with Hindi or just lack of experience in giving interviews. Otherwise she seemed like she knew what she was talking about. Also while I understood what she was saying I couldn't tell if her Hindi was good or bad or do she had an accent or not. Maybe those who are familiar with Hindi cam shed light on that.

The more interviews of Janhvi I watch, the more I like her. She seems very sweet, humble and well brought up. I didn't see any arrogance. I hope she retains this quality.

Also her hindi is fine. Sounds like mine 😆😆 Someone who knows how to read and write in it, but doesn't use it for speaking that often. So that slight English tinge is there. Basically a lack of fluency.

Really liked the interview. When I heard her during the trailer launch I thought she wouldn't be much of a talker and try n finish all answers in 2 sentences (more than looks which nowhere resembles her mum, it is this quiet demeanor of hers which reminded me of Sri), but she can obviously talk what is required, however without rambling. The Dilip Kumar bit was funny.

It is all sort of sweet now, to see her fumbling a bit and talking like a non-celeb. Even the answers for questions she would have expected (such as nepotism) had an unrehearsed and real vibe to it. I might as well enjoy it while it lasts , before someone brings it to her attention that the public is liking this image of hers and she should oversell it.

she completely won by giving an interview in hindi. after a long time i see a movie actor give interview in hindi. she is so young, speaks hindi so well.

She is not prepared for such questions.. She looks confident. lekin soch soch ke bol rahi hai jab soch ke bolna hai toh ek baar pehle se soch lo ki kya kya bolna. 😆
