Do girls really judge guys as Orphan and rapists as shown in VDW ?

The scene was meant to be tongue in cheek and exaggerated humor.

But both men and women judge prospects strongly on marital/dating apps from a picture alone.

Men are judged as - rapey, creepy, loser, homeless, junkie, hipster, wife beater, sugar daddy, poser

Women are judged as - catty, bitchy, flaky, high maintenance, gold digger, cougar, jailbait, white trash, plastic, bimbo

A few drinks + your BFFs tinder = totally non PC hilarious stupidity

In general, most people know you cannot judge abook by a cover. They know the person should not be judged like that. In most social and professional situations, they would not judge someone. But they act silly in private company. And sometimes on apps, you cannot help but make snap decisions based on images.

I dont understand the question. If you're saying that Indian girls/women in Delhi judge orphans as rapists then its the fault of Indian women/girls if they think orphans are rapists. Not all orphans are rapists... aren't majority of them come from middle class/rich families? they think they can get away with it b/c they are above the law.

Lmfaoo 😆 you really think posh Delhi girls will come on forums like this. 😆 I do know some "posh" Delhi girls & no, they don't act or talk like this. They're all academically invested/high-achieving & barring one, don't wear luxury labels or move around in luxury cars. Rest all, yes. Neither do they talk this way! But everyone makes snap judgements, it's only human nature. Their friends do make snap judgement like this but dont use such language. They definitely would date/be with people of their relative level of "posh"-ness because, compatibility.

It's Important to understand that some/large number of people do not make up the reality of a certain group, in this case," posh" Delhi girls.

You do realise Delhi is a massive city right. And you do realise that middle-class are never above the law right. I am middle-class. Surrounded by such people. Definitely do NOT believe I, or they, are above the law. Just because these stereotypes are bandied about in SM/shows etc, does not make them true for all of us. Political/influential people get away with things & they exist everywhere. Delhi has lots of very very different people.

Except it depends on which group is being judged. If a woman gets judged like that, that'll generate a lot of outrage, and any appeal to sense of humour would be dismissed, whereas if men are judged to be rapist or creepy, then there's hardly any reaction.

I once thought you were posh girl but you also turned out to be swara of posh girls. ( I am joking , dont kill me 😛)

I think your post of character being over exaggerated trash is good but i have a doubt , doesn't Varun judwa get trashed repeatedly here for calling an old woman a khatara gaadi (and i have seen this criticism lot of times) , which goes with his character of a tapori in over the top comedy of judwa whereas vdw is not ott comedy yet character is talking in a language which no one talks , i have never heard any girl calling orphan as insult and other girl poster said the same too.

So shouldn't it be criticised too ,?

I think as much as we take context into consideration & subsequent action, we should also take tonality & character into account. For Sakshi, it is her natural way of conversation. For Varun's character I am guessing he acts out of those beliefs. Idk because I haven't watched J2.

Except rapist, rest are exaggeration's. The way some boys/men ogle or check out is disgusting and deplorable. Lust simply flows out, causing repulsion.

Girls are more impressed by personality than merely looks. Yes good education and financial status matters but it's not a hindrance.

I stalked you lol I guess I bothered to read some posts only some coz I won't read anything more than 4line posts.

Yeah I don't buy middle class though probably upper middle class But that depends on individual definition of middle class which is complex and not going worth online 😆
