Who in their sane mind would want to see/hear Mukesh Khanna? Kuchh hua nahi he, and he is already going berserk.

Mukesh Khanna is a gone case. His only claim to relevance at present is harping about Shaktimaan..

I'd rather it doesn't happen. In his days, the concept of desi Superhero might have worked and it did work largely due to limited options. However, today there is a plethora of superheroes both for adults and kids. While adults have Marvel and DC superheroes the kids have those ranging from (but not limited to) Miles Morale (young Spiderman), Franklin Richards , Antman's daughter to the ones like Chota Bhim, Krish and Shiva to name a few even on desi parlance.

I thus doubt the salability of Shaktimaan in today's day and time.

I remember how Aswattamma with Vicky Kaushal was shelved due to lack of funding.It was big news..and RS too was dragged into it.In hindsight..after the 8 feet tall, snow white bearded Big B in Kalki,public would have not accepted anyone else in that Avatar.The story would have not been new either.

Vicky is now playing Parashuram..another very exciting character in Mahavatar.

sometimes it is all for the best.
