Don't know about posh Delhites, but posh Mambai waale do post on the forums...knew quite a few from the fanfiction forum.

As for the judging part - it's subjective I guess. Most of us women have called men creeps etc when we see them looking at us the wrong way. And personally, for me, yes, I have been creeped out by people at the first look without knowing them - know it's wrong, but it's true.

But it's exaggerated to feel offended by it, simply because it wasn't said in the same context as several of the stated examples. PKP had jabs at the entire womenkind and frankly speaking, we all enjoyed them to an extent. The reverse was shown in this movie - one simply has to take it in with a pinch of salt. Many a night of my hostel life was spent judging guys in their facebooks, esp the "frandship ones, so yeah, that's normal for a teenager at least.

And I found it interesting that they showed female camadarie without the bitching because none of the movies show it. I didn't even like the movie, but speaking on behalf of the female friendships I have, it was nice to see ki sorf bhaichaara hi nahi, "behenchaara bhi hota hai.

^^I seriously doubt posh anyone posts here, lmfaooo.. But life is full of surprises so who knows.

Snap judgments are almost the prerogative of homospaiens, lol. We all do it regardless of "class." The film just spoke of a certain audience of the sections seen as affluent.

Some definitely! I don't want to spill the person's name, and also because she's gone AWOL now, but there was this girl who lived at Breach Candy, went on impulsive trips to Europe and US etc. and I know she wasn't a kook because we're friends on FB.

It mainly depends on the person's interest I suppose. You won't find many people, especially in the upper strata, wanting to sit and ship characters from DMG or MJHT or IPKKND. And why would you want to tell people that you write FFs on them. I used to from an old ID write about Jily from HP series, but that was my guilty pleasure. No one from my life was as invested in HP as I was and internet is the best place to find like insane people. Which is why, she and many others were on IF.
BWF - I don't know. Haven't been here for much long and also, most real life Indians would just talk to other about BW. Most people would at least know the topic of discussion!

I've never heard anyone around me say it neither I've said it. At most it's "creepy", "loser", or "he looks like a monkey".

Oh and once I said that a guy looks like "spongebob", if that counts. 🤔

Natkhat: I agree. You never know how people are or ragged, who they are on the Internet! Even in a more positive sense. Anonymity brings down all barriers.. That's the beauty of the WWW!

I did laugh at "get to meet insane people." We are all insane here. 😆 I too used to know a girl from here who lives in the UK, fancy, used to travel all over the world & some people here who faff about being "normal" and live in mansions. 😆 So yes, it does happen!

I have no one to discuss BW in real life. No one is interested or knows of BW so I am stuck in this forum since forever.😆 Even I watch like a single BW movie per year on an average but still like the gossips. 😆
