Sonam has the passion and interest to keep making movies. Her acting maybe mediocre but her concepts and ideas make for enjoyable films with good female characters. She has her loyal fans.

Do not watch her films if you dislike her. If a star's performance is universally disliked they do fade into oblivion. It appears that she isn't universally disliked.

I'm really shook to see all this love pouring out for Sonam. Unpopular opinion but I kinda do believe the TM has raised a fair point here. She is not a good actress that's a fact, that mangalsutra dialogue has me cringing and laughing at the same time 😆 kudos for trying though. But should she retire? Umm well I'm a little conflicted about it like when I see her act so terribly I do feel like someone better and more talented deserve to be in her place to fill up the space that she is just been bestowed upon thanks to her surname but at the same time I feel that it'll be a tad too brutal to ask someone to retire that's just harsh. I believe she'd make a better producer/fashionista instead. If she'd concentrate more on her strengths, it'd be better. But I'd love her to produce more such female-oriented movies just not act in them.

Neerja didn't work because of her, it worked because of story and she was the weakest link there as well. Thank goodness that she didn't manage to spoil that.

I totally agree! She really was the weakest link of Neerja because her performance was so stiff and inconsistent 🥱

Shabana overshadowed her big time! Her final monologue was so poignant 👏

Sonam is a nonactress along the likes of Kat,sradha,jacky etc.

I watched only 2 movies of her in my entire life (IHL & Ranjaana) and I was done with her acting...

Recently our forum was pouring unconditional love on her and her movies so I decided to give her one more try and finally decided to watch Aisha...the reason was my new found crush for Abhay deol..I so wanted to watch the movie for Abhay sake but after two scenes of sonam I couldn't tolerate anymore.

In my entire life only twice I was forced to stop watching a movie because of the pathetic acting..first tym was my brother ki dulhan due to Kat and the 2nd one Aisha due to sonam.

There's no point of her learning to act because she useless and waste of space. She's a non-actress who has hardly given great performance barring Neerja but the movie itself overshadowed her acting. I mean people who i know personally e.g. family and friends were prasing the movie because they were aware of terrible tradegy that happened. Not a single word or nothing about Sonam's performance was mentioned.

I don't know what people see in her because she's a crap actress and won't be rememebered for her acting.

I like sonam but i have a problem with this movie. Nevertheless the efforts of Sonam and Rhea as producers are worth an applause and they deserve to get their due.
