Why can't Sonam Kapoor either learn to act or retire?

Just saw VeereDi Wedding.

I am not going to comment on what's right or wrong about the subjects but one thing that stuck out like a sore thumb was Sonam's acting (and I do agree that she looked really good). She's so animated without any reason and such bad dialogue delivery. To me she was the weakest link in the movie.

And she kept on saying phooti kodi instead of Kaudi.

Can someone tell her not to ruin movies in future because she'll be on high horse after success when it got nothing to do with her.

Sonam acted in VDV ? I thought she was just herself. She sounds like she usually does.
I do agree Sonam cannot act, but as for the retirement, she and Rhea deserve kudos because they do not get much respect yet they fulfill a very important part. Female producers. They did have problems raising money for this which the men did not. There are obvious product placements which I think they used to raise money They probably used family or Ekta's cars cause the film sure does not look cheap. And they are not afraid to break taboo.

They have made chick flicks, movies about the urban desi woman which are few and far between.

So as fluffy and frivolous as Sonam seems, she is a savvy business woman and she and Rhea have broken some barrier. I think enough credit is not given to them. So I don't see why they should quit. It's not like we have Oscar winning talent otherwise.

The title is hilarious🤣...but seriously...I will never understand why people want the actors they don't like to retire...she has her fans...who want to watch her in chick flicks or whatever she does...she can keep making movies for them...The ones who don't like her should avoid her movies...it is that simple..😆

You do not like her work than stop watching her movies simple as that. Sonam may not be the best but she certainly is not the worse either and she has come such a long way. But I guess it is easy to go and bash her. What is new. Among all people in Bollywood she is actually harmless.

Well, there's an easy solution for you and that's to stop watching her movies. She has her own fans who love watching her movies and wait eagerly for. I love her movies and performances. I find her much better than Kat and DP whose movies I am usually forced to watch because of my fav SRK, Salman or Ranbir. I find her much better actress than them. At least, Sonam isn't forced on me and find her movies entertaining.

If Salman Khan can survive without acting or even moving his body for 20 + years , why can't Sonam?
Anyway Sonam can actually act and is pleasing to look at
