I said taking face value of a current movie and comparing it with an old movie is not wise.

Even if Padmavat made 300+ crores, it is still a lesser hit than say Mother India whose face value is just 4crores.

Hence said even though BV, the biggest disaster in recent years has more face value collection than MEA, does not mean it is bigger hit than MEA. As a response to comparing RL with Devdas.

Why would we only change Devdas BO..let's change all BO of all older movies..

The BO shows recent movies at the top, so there's no point going about face value of older movies anyway..we do not know if Devdas from 2002 -or other movie- would be a hit or a flop today..it's all in the realm of 'what if'..on 'maybe' audience would accept it or not..

So SLB did had huge hit befores but he was irrelevant for nearly a decade before getting Deepika-Ranveer pair.
