EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Ranveer Singh on Deadpool 2 - A lot of people think I'm apt for Deadpool

In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Pinkvilla, Ranveer Singh spoke candidly about providing his voice for Deadpool 2's Hindi version, whether he has any similarities with Deadpool and also reveals his superhero name and power.

The R-Rated superhero Deadpool played to perfection by one Mr. Ryan Reynolds managed to steal our hearts back in 2016. The megalomaniac, ass-kicking and larger than life anti-hero is back to tickle our funny bones in Deadpool 2.

The Hindi version of Deadpool 2 will see the always vibrant and colourful Ranveer Singh voicing the badass Deadpool and we could not think of a more apt actor to take up this job.

We caught up with Ranveer for an EXCLUSIVE chat as the actor got candid about his love for Deadpool.

"I had never experienced a superhero like this before. He's definitely unique," Ranveer said and added, "His brand of humour is distinctive, irreverent, below the belt, way over the line. I enjoy that kind of humour. So when the opportunity came along, I jumped at it immediately."

Many would consider Ranveer's characteristics to be reminiscent of Deadpool to which Ranveer gushed, "I find it weird when people ask me to comment on my own personality. How does one pass judgement on one's own personality? I don't know who I am or what I'm like or how I am. I think my whole life is an exploration of who I am, what I am?"

"A lot of people think I'm apt for Deadpool but that is not for me to judge or decide," Ranveer added.

Finally, we asked him the ever cliched question of what is superhero name and power would be. Singh revealed, "If I was an Indian superhero, I would be Swachhataveer and I would be the face of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. I would clean up all our big urban metropolitans and definitely be the champion of the cause for cleanliness and hygiene in our country."

That's true a lot of people including me thought that he was apt for deadpool until I saw the dubbing. Probably coz of the quirky personality.
I don't see why he needs to get bashed for this.
Also, I know nobody who watches interviews like these of someone who they absolutely despise. That's a lot of self inflicted torture.

When you dub for a movie then you don't really change the face you know, the actor remains the same😆
Also, IDK about you I(and many others who are fans of this franchise) agree that Wade Wilson should definitely keep his mask on. The guy has a burned face. It's not a good sight at all. Ryan Reynolds on the other hand is a different scenario altogether 😳

Is he indirectly sending feelers to BJP and trying to get his name attached to swachh bharat abhiyan to be in good books of you know who 😉😆 - Tried and tested formula of being successful and nobody would bat an eye even if you do wrong 😛
