Kind of disagree. We cannot really credit Ranveer till the Hindi collections outgross or equal the English one, but then we also need to consider the fact that Hindi version has had minimal release in south.

See, the movie is totally fantastic in itself. Ranveer created some buzz but that is about it. The sequel is a better movie so the collections of the sequel Hindi version were always gonna be higher than the prequel anyways.

I am just glad that he did a good job with the dubbing.

Please dont compare the collection of Deadpool 1 hindi with the new one .
Deadpool 1 hindi created the buzz very much later when english version movie got Hit with audience . People later started watching the hindi version .

Deadpool 2 Stutters After Good Start

Deadpool 2 stuttered after a good start on Friday. The Friday numbers were very good considering the Adult certificate for the film but it faltered over Saturday and Sunday. The weekend grossed 27.50 crore nett but the big problem is the first day is the best day.

The film has fared poorly in the dubbed versions and Hollywood films can get away with that but here the film has gone to nearly 2000 screens so dubbed versions which will have more than half the screens have to contribute well for the film to sustain. The Hindi version of the film hardly grew on Sunday after a noticeable fall on Saturday. It has not been able to reach 10 crore nett for the weekend which is not good.

The first weekend business of Deadpool 2 is as follows,.

Friday - 9,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 8,75,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 9,25,00,000 apprx

Total - 27,50,00,000 apprx

The dubbed versions are going to fall heavily on Monday as the film has not found appreciation in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu but it still has some hope with the English version which could run for a few weeks. It will not be easy for the English version alone to take it to a decent total as the screens playing dubbed versions will slowly get redundant but the chance is there although not a big chance.

There are so many Deadpool threads, one cannot know where to go and answer😆.

Even AVENGERS INFINITY WARS didn't create so much buzz in forum. (And some talk about lack of buzz, lol).

Anyway..check the other thread or even the tweets posted here to see why RS dubbing the Hindi version has helped DP2 collect more.

Whatever will be shown , people that dislike him will find ways to twist it and try make it sound like he hasn't achieved anything, or hasn't had impact.

Even making so many threads about RS shows that RS is in their minds constantly😉

I am surprised to see members not ready to credit him for better performance of DP2, are the same ones blaming him for it crashing.

Deadpool 2 Day Five Business

Deadpool 2 continued the downward trend on Tuesday as it collected 3.50 crore nett to take its 5 day total to 35 crore nett. The film had collected around 5 crore nett more than Raazi on Friday and five days later the gap between the films is just 25 lakhs and it is just a matter of time before Raazi goes ahead. It is 100% certain to be ahead of Friday as Deadpool 2 will have a heavy reduction of screens.

The film is looking at a first week of 40-41 crore nett which is a fair figure for a Hollywood release but the problem is this was a bigger release than most Hollywood releases and the biggest problem is the trend with collections not holding.

The first five day business of Deadpool 2 is as follows,.

Friday - 9,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 8,75,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 9,25,00,000 apprx

Monday - 4,00,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 3,50,00,000 apprx

Total - 35,00,00,000 apprx
