Welll..yes and no .

Her last full-fledged role was Ki and Ki (2016) and before that was Gore Tere Pyar Mein in 2013!...Shes done alot of small roles in BB and UP but those are just gap fillers.

But even those "small roles" were big films opposite big male leads like Salman and Ajay Devgn, so it can't be called comeback coz of that. If you're working with the big actors, you're very much in the league.

Don't know about longest reign but she was one actress who was unaffected by flops meaning it didnt make any difference to her appeal to the audience while it made huge difference to others in a negative way

so did esha and abhishek with even more powerful surnames

why did they vanish then?

i understand your point but i feel with kareena it was a also something in her obviously which helped her survive those flops..which esha and abhi couldn't despite having bigger surnames coz they lacked something kareena had in abundance..may be spark..presence etc etc

Ki&Ka was Kareena's last leading role. After that UP and now VDW are both supporting roles. Even in 2014 and 2015 all her roles were minor roles with even less screentime than the other actors in the movies who were billed as supporting. Also like many others pointed out others like Sridevi, Hema Malini, Rekha had longer innings as leading ladies and not Kareena.
