He was too good for Bollywood. Hope he gets his due now that talent is being respected in BW.

about 4 years ago, he produced a film - One By Two and faced heavy loss which resulted in him selling off his properties to pay the debt. Since thn his career has been over.

Same happened with Rajpal Yadav who produced (and Directed) Ata Pata Laapata and faced loss. Since thn he took around 3-4 years to pay off his debts and now even his career is over.

Dont know whats the connection between facing loss as a producer and acting career getting over but thats true for these 2 !!

To act in Masala Hindi movies, (more than acting,) one needs to know dancing, fighting etc. People who can't do it cannot fit in mainstream movies. At most Rom com genre. (But they are not produced frequently). Imran Khan, Abhay Deol, Fawad.., they all fit in this category. Decent actors, but no commercial elements.

The other genre (parallel movies) are produced very few in number. There they have to fight with Nasiruddin Shah, Manoj Vajpayee, Irfan Khan and all. (These movies do not require young actor all the time).

On the other hand, if a person has masala elements but not a good actor, he can still sail (and can learn acting on his way). Entire family of Dharmendra (except Dharmendra) are non actors, but Sunny Deol had commercial elements to begin with.

Akki learnt to act much later. So will Tiger.
