^^Sure, but DP is right alongside her. Padmavat has done really well too so no, DP is the most sought after currently too alongwith Aloo. Must be another reason, like her upcoming marriage, that she is taking it slow.

considering the bar she has raised for herself

the offers which be good for others may not appeal to her

for eg..she for sure will not play a role like katrina is in zero or thugs..that doesn't mean she is less in demand..more like she is being super selective and knows she is in a place where she can take it slow and easy..she has cemented a pretty powerful place for herself and padmavat was the test for it which she cleared pretty well

i remember people saying padmavat be her test coz she is cming back after more than 2 years..

and she assured herself and others that even in those 2 years she remained no.1 despite no movies..her brand value remained super strong and when she came back with padmavat the movie became a BB

she for sure can take it easy now coz her career is super stable and she is secure..

In Summary Deepika made clear of all the facts she got bashed for:

1. How highly she ranked Ranveer as an actor ! Ranveer was joking in summit and Deepu bashers pick it up

2. Clearly marriage is happening. She didn't deny the december deadline neither she denied the groom is Ranveer..It is what it is and she doesn't feel the necessity to challange it

3. She has declined XXX sequel. In Masand interview she said the script is developing here she agreed that she declined

4. She can teach most famous people a lesson or two on how to handle success and how to make your background team special and how to share credit with other people..She is probably the most grounded celebrity of bollywood..Touchwood she needs to remain same..

5. Deepika gave out the details of the village in karnataka where her foundation is working amongst the rural people for depression issue..

And her pay parity logic is the most sanest logic ever given 👍🏼..In short she can mumble how much she want but stay humble as u r...Not everyone deserves the success they get..you are made for it..
