Thanks Mione for the summary... had watched bits n pieces of this interview.. she looked way more relaxed and chirpy.. also i love how she spoke abt ranveer so casually in this and anupama's interview.. Excited abt the wedding 😳

And i can't believe she suggested the pyjamas to ranveer for GQ Awards function.. Haha.. so cute.. 😆 love what she said abt his clothes and the way he expresses himself through them..also i love how veer seeks her approval for such things... Also glad she cleared that ham thing.. ranveer joked and she got bashed..

She said about hamming Ranveer was joking. She thinks he can completely transform himself ..Thats make him special..no other actor of current generation has the ability to do that.

The host said that Deepika once accepted in red carpet that ranveer is her bf..She said Yeah it is what it is..she won't challenge it..Then the host asked are you getting married by the end of the year..She said it has to be instinct bla bla but didn't denied the timeline..then host said ok venue and time is not fixed but who you are getting married to ...she laughed and umm and you never know

I'm getting a really chill vibe from Deepika these days. She doesn't seem quite as a frantic or rushed off her feet like she did a few years ago. I think:

1. She's gotten an immense amount of satisfaction with Padmavaat and how well it's done. She probably feels really validated after all the nonsense they had to go through.

2. She's getting a real sense of purpose with her foundation and how well that has been received, and the very real impact it has had in a short time.

3. Things are really good with her and Ranveer and clearly, marriage is just a matter of when and not if. Their relationship is thriving and she feels really good and comfortable and content as a result.

Not sure chasing films is going to give her the same amount of fulfilment that they once did. I think she'll continue to do films and do good work but she's not desperate to bag the biggest roles in the biggest movies. That time has come and gone.

Padmaavat had lots of other factors for its success besides Deepika, SLB has his own sets of fans who go and watch his movies.

Anyways she should at least do one movie or else her brand value will go down, out of sight out of mind this I am talking about common movie goers not her crazy fans. Who on this forum are bashing for others opinion.

Its not that she is not getting offers. like she said in one of her recent interviews she is looking for something solid to work on. She is not in a hurry to sign films just for the sake of it.

i remember people saying padmavat be her test coz she is cming back after more than 2 years..

and she assured herself and others that even in those 2 years she remained no.1 despite no movies..her brand value remained super strong and when she came back with padmavat the movie became a BB

she for sure can take it easy now coz her career is super stable and she is secure..

I agree with this. She is waitng it out for something solid and she is in that stage of her career where she can do that. It is so much better than signing films just for the sake of it.
