Oh gawddd ewww the horror!!! I don't even wanna imagine seeing Varun in a remake of Ek Pal Ka Jeena. But I agree with Angel, these remakes are a great way to introduce the younger generation to "older classics" so there's that one positive aspect of it:) I also agree that these days songs are garbage anyway, remake ho ya original kya farq padtha hai...end mein toh bakwas hi niklega :p Some remakes have been handled really well with no cringey ill-fitting rap portions, great vocals and videos that are tastefully done like Laila, so those ones I enjoy:p

But just the thought of today's wannabe stars trying to recreate the aura of the original videos makes me wanna bang my head on a desk. I feel like soon they're gonna remake O O Jaane Jaane with Varun Dhawan it too. 🤢
