Nobody gets to dictate what bond one shares with their relatives, distant or close. Family figures themselves out. The same girl cancelled all events for her movie when Tiger Pataudi passed away. So yes, she DOES go all out of her family. But who comprises the most intimate family members, only KAREENA gets to decide. Not this forum. Her family, her bond, her connection.

It's not just about attending a funeral or not though. Most celebrities have the basic courtesy to keep a low profile during those days whereas Kareena and Saif don't

I wonder why we didn't get pictures of Aradhya, AbRam, Nitara, Misha and Yash & Roohi on the day of Sridevi's funeral or during that period. Their parents must not be relevant stars like Kareena and Saif so the media must've happened to JUST post about Taimurs daily shenanigans.

The thing is, NOBODY stopped living their lives because Sridevi passed away. But, everyone, out of respect and courtesy of the untimely death, just paid their tribute to her and didn't publicly pull their publicity stints like Kareena.

Shahid Kapoor wasn't close to Sridevi or her family. But instead of celebrating his birthday, he paid tribute to her. It takes a little bit of HEART and COMPASSION towards others during trying times which really says a lot about the person we are. But I guess Kareena will always get a pass with the lame excuse of "Kareena is just being Kareena". So basically being Kareena means lacking compassion and empathy for fellow colleagues whom you've worked with and met quite often.

Yes, going to a funeral or living life king size is individual choice, but it also reflects on Kareenas mentality, and not positively. Whether it's Shammi or Sridevi, they are part of the same film fraternity she is, and are respected members, and accordingly she should make the effort to attend funerals to pay respects to the departed and support the surviving members. Nothing to do with what kind of person Sri was or not, but it's just the decent thing to do, being part of the industry.

Many others took that time and made that effort because they knew Sri or regarded her work highly and it's the right thing to do.

Can I know what connection Sri attending Mona's funeral or not have to do with an actress who has acted in 3 movies of Boney s movies and is cordial with Sridevi not bothering to visit when they live in same city? No one is saying whole world should mourn for a celeb, but for those who knew her personally, it is common courtesy and common sense to show solidarity.

@bold: Exactly my point. A woman whose husband's kids lost their mother, who were left orphaned even when their father was alive, didn't bother to console or take care of them. Heck, she didn't even ask Boney to go to his children and support them. Their relationship was much closer than what Kareena and Sri had. Working with someone 10years back doesn't qualify as having close relations.

And just like you are asking me who am I, I wanna ask who are you to know or judge someone's relationship? Just because a popular celeb is not there any more, doesn't mean she becomes a devi. Her past mistakes will still be there. Common courtesy sirf apne biasedness pe nahi apply hoti!

In truest sense Kareena is a carbon copy of her mother Babita. Selfish, spineless and zilch emotions for anyone. Karisma at least has some of her dad's qualities like showing some empathy towards ppl. Only Randhir and Karisma attended the funeral from the family. I m scared for Taimur. Hope he gets a good upbringing and some etiquettes. Just wishful thinking.

Yes. They should have gotten out of the jeep, grabbed the locals phones and broken them to prevent such a crime. 😭

The pics were taken by local fans and picked up by fanclubs and eventually the media. This was NOT taken by paparazzi. I've posted this before as well.
