Official statement by the Kapoor Family

"Khushi, Janhvi, Boney Kapoor and the entire Kapoor and Ayyappan families are deeply bereaved and shocked with the untimely loss of Sridevi Kapoor. Late Sridevi Kapoor passed away in Dubai, UAE, on Saturday February 24th.

We thank the film fraternity, media, fans of late Sridevi Kapoor and all the well-wishers for their prayers, support and sensitivity during our moment of immense grief. We request you to kindly join us in paying our last respect to a remarkable actor, beloved wife and loving mother."

Kindly find all the details for tomorrow (Wednesday):

1. Condolences and last respects:

Date & Time: 28th Feb Wednesday, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
Address: Celebration Sports Club
Garden No 5, Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West, Mumbai, Maharashtra - 400053

The last journey will commence at 2 pm from Celebration Sports Club to Pawan Hans.

2. Cremation:

Address: Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery, Next to Pawan Hans, SV Road, Vile Parle West
Date & Time : 28th Feb 3.30 pm onwards

well they've released the details of the venue and timings, so there is going to be alot of media and paparazzi, also general public will be there, i just hope they make proper arrangements like barriers to keep the media and people at a safe distance

i hope the media gives the family..friends and fans peace to mourn and stop clicking pics on the face...its a funeral not a party...

this coverage is for her billion fans across the world...pls respect it

i am still in the state of shock...i can't believe sridevi is no more...

from my behalf...i am watching all her songs to pay my respect to this legend...there can be no sridevi ever...she is immortal

i pray for jhanvi and khushi to be strong...i could feel their pain as i went through the same pain in my teen years of loosing my father to an accident...i didn't even know abt his death...god bless the girls and hope jhanvi bring forward her mother's legacy..her mom will always be with her and guide her...

Why give away locations?
in such situations it's better to give fake locations just to deviate unwanted crowd.

fans has the rights to say their final goodbye to sridevi...they are her fans...she is legend for them...

the whole nation is already in grieve...they have the right to say a final goodbye to the women who entertain their lives for 5 decades...

the kind of crowd and love sridevi got for her final days...no actress will ever get that kind of love...she is adored by the nation...she is legendary becos of them only...infact i have never seen such craze for any actress not even yesteryear actress too...sridevi is truly a icon and prized possession to the the whole nation
