It was the family that released this statement and venue details, so they seem to not mind the fans and media paying thier respects to Sridevi, I just hope barriers r put in place and there is tight security

Google images shows pics of his funeral procession. It looks really dignified and allowed fans to get a last fleeting look at him since he was in a clear box on the back of a truck laden with white flowers.

It did look really calm also as they had the roads closed I believe. But still allowed crowds to gather by the road side.

Whatever they do I just hope it helps give all those grieving some closure. Me included. I find it strange that I am going through a grieving process for her but it's essentially as her films are linked to my childhood and so I guess I'm mourning that also. If that makes sense

exactly...they invite her fans and of course they know the security measures too...they will take care of it...she is celebrated by her fans for 5 decades...they have rights to say their final goodbye to her

there is a reason why they did not doing her funeral in their home but in a complex...its for her fans so that they can pay their last respect n love

fans know their limits but the media can cross limit
