I believe she has fantastic debut followed by a series of blockbusters and a film like lootera.
Those times when in kofee with karan she expressed her desire to have ranveer singh.
She was the brightest upcoming star rumoured to charge a bomb for her movies.
All magazine covers , amazing line up of films. It must have been an unforgettable phase for her.
overnight dabaang made her a big star with that thappad line
But what went wrong??
People blame that she did too many of hero centric movies.
i complete disagree that to be the reason.
Atleast those movies helped her remain a 100 crore box office queen.
But then she even did heroine centric ones like Akira, Noor, so?? those didnt work either
ittefaq just came and went. So cant blame hero centric movies.
I feel she should have lost some weight.Just like what parineeti did. and parineeti is back in the game. Its a visual medium and a desirablity factor for an actress is must.
That period of 2013, when she was still doing great she should have approached people like SLB, Maneesh Sharma, Ram Madhwani.
In addition her father has earned bad reputation in political circles. One of the person i know from maharashtra bjp was telling me once , how they curse the sinha family day and night for their failure cause mr shatrughan sinha has always been bad mouthing against the party he comes from.He doesnt resigns but talks rubbish. He is shatrughan but vibhishan in reality. Sonakshi is getting all negative vibes.
I still believe she has a beautiful face. She really needs to do something quick ASAP.
