Neither Golmaal Again nor Raid, but THIS film is Ajay Devgn's highest Monday grosser

The name will shock you!

Raids continued success at the box office proves that if you know what to serve the audience, they will definitely check it out. Not just that, it can even make a hit out of a film which is devoid of any commercial shenanigans. Box office has been really kind towards the film which started its run with a double digit opening. That's simply fab! That makes you believe that our movie goers have changed and have become more welcoming towards thought-provoking content. Thus, despite being a non-masala fare, Raid has been doing tremendous business. It's first Monday has been decent too, although the dip is pretty massive from Sunday. It earned Rs 6.26 crore on its fourth day at the box office. It obviously, couldn't break Ajay Devgns last release Golmaal Agains Monday figures of Rs 16.04 crore, but that's not even the actor's biggest numbers for the day. It is Shivaay! Shocked? We were shocked too when we discovered it. Golmaal Again is Ajay's biggest hit, but it couldn't become his biggest Monday. Shivaay was 2016's Diwali bonanza which clashed with Ranbir Kapoor's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. But despite that, it managed to get Rs 17.35 crore at the box office on Day 1. That is still Ajay's highest Monday figures till date. To think that a film like Shivaay which just managed' to enter the Rs 100 crore club could give him a record, is amusing.

#Raid was few lakhs below our expectations yesterday, but it seems that gap will be made up for today. The night shows are just today. If Tuesday > Monday, then cr shouldn't be far.
