Besharam is rightfully a great example of negative buzz - 20cr opening. Befikre wasn't quarter of that. Reviews have 0 impact on day 1. Most metro places it was promoted by the makers of DDLJ' even. It had the biggest YouTube chartbuster. Even Sonam are another negatively reviewed film had decent opening due to music. With all this aspects and Ranveer's Star power. 10cr is low. It could've easily made 12-14cr

Heck DDD even had 9.7cr opening with Anil, Farhan, Priyanka And Anushka. Kill Dil was 6cr lol

Hey but Didi has Irrfan who is on a hit spree, don't you think he deserves all the credit? Gully Boy has Alia who gave a solo hit with Dear Zindagi ans there was no superstar actor in it. Ranveer cannot take the credit for Gully boy. Shahid is safe since Yami and Shraddha are both giving flop after flop.
