So basically if Gully Boy is an average grosser, not even a hit, then Alia gets credit. By that logic for Simmba let Rohit Shetty get credit and for 1983 nostalgia. God forbid Ranveer's next one after these movies is with SLB or Deepika again, then he is done.
The guy literally brings nothing to the table. There have to be other contributing factors that ensure his movies get an average tag even.
Ranveer will get credit either way. But saying needs solo success where he's the biggest star
Gully Boy will be 50/50 due to Alia having few hits prior. If Raazi does great business then again she'd take equal credit for GB
Simmbha will be his film. Possibly a great choice too but again. RS films always guarantee good opening. He has to give clean hits with both of this to start taking credits of all his films
