^^Thats fine, I understand it's your opinion. To me it's just bizarre how anyone can expect an actress who has had a number of evil death threats issued against her for ACTING, ie for doing her job, not be happy & smile wide!! Different opinions I reckon.

The actors anyways don't care about what others have to face and they very well know the situation. Waiting for a week to see its fate will cause no serious harm but they care a damn. They always stand with candles to show their sympathy for any crime that takes place in the country and today it seems others need to stand with candles for their movie as many people were injured in all this. All those who got hurt were not even going to watch the movie.

that HATERS word was not for you! and as MEB mentioned we have different opinions and I agree with her like why it is always expected out of actors to bend down whereas the situation is more political at this point..

also no one is Fanatic or blind in love for the actors or whatever!

everyone can see that the situation is a bit out of control in places like Gurgaon but I clearly mentioned in my earlier post that it was a PRIVATE screening and was held last night whereas the protests happened this morning, what do you expect them to do?

I did not say they have no right to smile. I said it's not the right time. Huge difference between what I said and what it is interpreted as. Infact, I did not use the word "Smile" in my whole post 😕😆

they've dealt with a lot of shit behind closed doors. Why does ONE MOMENT have to define their sentiments on the whole issue? Do you feel that because they can laugh, they cannot feel remorse or feel the tension? Do you think they are unaware of it? Do you not think they also lived with that same tension for the better part of a year?

ETA: Don't impose your standards on people. Everyone deals with things differently.

^^^i'm glad you've said what you want. But when that happens, there's usually a response. We don't live in a bubble where you get to throw out what you think should be happening and people agree to it without question. That's not how it works on a public FORUM, which is for communication.

Do you think I should either compliment them on their dress "Oh so pretty" as this is a fan-based thread and not say anything I feel else I'm a hater? Do you think if I say something negative and feel that it's not the right time, I don't have the right to even feel anything? So what if I say something? If I said something, it means I am insulting their feelings what they've gone through all this while and don't have any right to enjoy. Go ahead! The fact of imposing my standards on others doesn't arise as the forum has lost its standards long back. People don't know how to have a healthy debate /conversation and only criticize and hate.

OK, since everyone should follow some kind of ritual in this thread I'll too do the same.

My objection, along with others, wasn't about your lack of praise for the lead characters in the movie, but rather how you believe they should project themselves given the tension surrounding the movie. You're free to not like them, that's your prerogative.

And you really didn't have to go on a rant of not being allowed an opinion ( a rant that got tiresome to read after its 3rd line). My point, which you missed, was that you are allowed your opinion, but then have the heart to read a response as well. You don't get to say your piece on a public forum and then brush other peoples responses off as 'thats my opinion, deal with it'. That's not it works.
