As if Akki is so magnanimous 😆, in fact hes just the opposite, he knows he currently has RW support so he comes and clashes with others knowingly, he always grabs the National holidays like Republic Day and Independance Day, part of his latest Deshbhakt image projection plan.

Akki clashed Toilet with JHMS, SRK had booked the date much before him, it was SRK who moved to a week before to avoid clashing with Toilet in 1st week..

So this time Akki is getting it back from Padmavat team clashing with his Padman at the last moment ...sabko sabak milta hai kabhi na kabhie 😆

Padmavat will face major backlash in some states but it might do well in other states and worldwide if its as impressive as it shd be with a budget of 190 crores 😲

But will Padman get full RW support as Toilet? Firstly sanitary napkin is an embarassing topic for RWingers, they are too sanskari to openly support a film abt pads, secondly sanitary pads is not a pet project of government like Toilet was...

So competition might be more even this time, in fact Padmavat might get more support from those Indians who are opposed to Karni Sena's gundagardi

Anyway Republic Day is a big holiday in India, this year its on a Friday, so full 3 day holiday weekend.

Both Raees and Kaabil had good collections on Republic Day week even with clash so both the Pad movies might do well too, Padman in RW states, Padmavat in the others

But Padmavat budget is so high its doubtful if it can recover costs, while Padman is the usual small budget quickie from Akki so it can recover its costs and be called a hit even if it makes a pittance
