YAY awesome. I am also from Kerala. I am happy to tell u that shows are running packed in COCHIN too.

Also I had to book my tickets for sunday first show on thursday itself since tickets were getting sold out super fast even then I did not get the gold ones for the show.

Well about forum crying flower pot.. the forum generally has a neg attitude against DP-RS.. So Ignore😃

Padmavati has been seen, consumed and enjoyed and is being thought open.

Pluses

Technically impeccable-sets,grandeur, cinematography etc.
Costumes, look were good. Not as good as BM. 😆
Glad there were fewer songs .
Action was fab. Especially the final duel between the two kings.
As usual, an amazing supporting cast 👏
Some good standout scenes.

Minuses

SPOILERS

I can't not hate that they made jauhar heroic especially in current scenario in our society. Could have done away with the back ground music or at least have had a voice-over saying something. The women were HELPLESS. Period.
The rajput robot that Ratan singh was made to be. Or was is just shahid's one-note acting?
Padmavati is more zombie like than mastani. I think slb loves veer more than dp, he just makes her look stunning and gives her zombie like roles. Also I wanna see what the mastani critiques her have to say watching paddu go after, more so ,stop a married king from going away to his wife .
why the stupid holi song ?
It WAS a good Hindu king vs An evil, barbaric Muslim ruler people, I mean, in current climate? Really? After such a nice message of love having no religion in BM, you had to show this, in today's society? !Really!

For me, team khilji ruled it. I mean their scenes were much more interesting to watch than the dry rajput scenes.

Performances

Ranveer was amazing. Especially his interactions with Kafur , Jalal and Ratan
Jim Sarbh. He's a find. I hope we see more of him in films . He was excellent. #Jimveer . They were so good together.
Sasha, so dry, deadpan. I had high hopes. He was just good not great.
Deepika should stay away from desi, period dramas for a while. Paddu looks like a sinhalese doppelganger of mastani. Sans warrior gene .
Aditi ,should work in mainstream more. Sorry I just had to say mainstream. Because there is still the gap.

I watched padmavathi movie in Tamil version, Movie is super,

Highlight of the movie is Ranveer singh acting. They should show allaudin and padmavathi meet scene .

I pray Karni Sena don't hunt me down for saying this...but binte dil song is kinda Ranveer imagining and dreaming Deepika with him. I visualised ( unintentional) that fire thing he holding in his hands as deepika and he is pining for her and romancing the fire thing.

Deepika presence in song would make the shippers very happy but if that hurts sentiments of many then avoiding is better. SLB shouldn't have named in Padmavati and instead should have made Movie with similar story and carve it the way he wanted.
