I want someone to construct an illustration of 2 sets.
Set 1: The people who scream "nepotism" on social media with passionate rage

Set 2: The people who scream "drama queen" on social media whenever Kangana talks about nepotism.

How much do the two intersect?

I think in general there is just one major set. The people who scream on social media.

Bonus question: -

Who is more dramatic - Karan Johar or Kangana or TayTay aka T Swizzle aka Taylor Swift?

Nepotism is perhaps not the right word. It's cronyism. The boy doesn't have to be a star kid to be a KJo crony. Neither does Sid M.

Unfortunately, cronyism has been around since the beginning of the universe. It's just more in our faces where movies are concerned because the movie industry is in our faces more than any other.

The problem with KJo is that he doesn't just promote his cronies, he goes out of his way to undercut others.

Starting with Kajol, onto the Rabveer vs Ranbir, Ranbir vs. Imran antics. Also, Sonam vs Deepika questions on his show. Then, Alia vs. Parineeti. The subtext in KwK was clear; he expected the industry to support his preferred people. And it's rumored he asked film makers not to hire certain artists.

EDITED TO ADD. I'm not denying the talent of his pets. But look at the rivals he pitted them against. They were/are also good actors. He tried his best to bring them down.

I hope when this movie releases, these people protesting so strongly in twitter won't rush to the movie theater to watch it . If the movie is a flop it'll automatically teach KJ a lesson .

It's not like nepotism in some way was not present before. It was, but it wasn't at threatening level and in some weird way, then star kids somehow more than justified their presence in industry. Kapoors family, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Shobhna Samarth and her two daughters Tanuja & Nutan. But somehow all these were talented and those who weren't good enough were rejected. Most importantly makers then had not stopped considering and taking outsiders in their films. Ratio of outsiders to insiders more than made up. Now the problem is, the ratio of insider links and industry kids "launched stars" is more than outsiders. For ever Sushant singh Rajpoot, there are 10-15 Varun Dhawans. If not a industry kid, be a model, simple! And you have high chances to be spotted some day.

The difference in quality of stars (if they can even be called that) from 50s till now has only dropped. people often complain Khans have not stopped acting, they still do lead roles n all. but, in order to replace a superstar, you need another charismatic superstar with his own unique style. That some one maybe a superb actor, may have his/her own charismatic style, but he should be able to touch people's hearts once he/she comes on screen. Those kind of superstars are missing now. Because film-makers don't want to do all the "mehnat" of searching when they have in-grown breed of star-kids. For them , they get glamour and "genetic acting/charismatic" abilities together without having to entertain other deserving ones. Being a star/industry kid or from modelling world is not the guarantee of next superstar.

From 50s to 70s, each and every star had his/her own style, something unique, and his own persona. Each was rightfully and truly a star. Not now, now we use the word star more like a general term without really meaning it always. How many outsiders are given good breaks by A-list film-makers? the scope of finding truly charismatic and talented stars isn't there anymore. First, either 'coz good ones or promising ones are forced to do B-grade movies. Or they are not given break at all. many will disagree with me, but without going too far, Rajeev Khandelwal, Karthik Aryan and Himansh Kohli are somehow good examples. How many A-list directors took Rajeev in a good movie? How man y Karan Johars and David Dhawans gave a good chance to Karthik Aryan? Himansh Kolhli may not be a great actor but he does have ability to connect with common people on screen. If star-kids even after giving 3-4 flops get good films, I think Himansh too deserved at least 2-3 chances by good film-makers, How many directors today actually try to find next superstar from outsiders, or strugglers? Our industry one day will have dearth of good, talented and at the same time charismatic actors. Stars today may have fans but the craze of a superstar , that is missing; that evergreen quality is missing; magic is missing. All thanks to too much of nepotism.

People undermining what outsiders have to do to struggle. Hell - I've been in LA for 3 years and finally got a job as a clerk on a show. It took 3 years... and that too as a clerk.

Did she audition for this role along with other contenders? If no, then y should the janta not speak about the nepotism.. humare gale kyun utar rahe ho inko?
She might be good like Alia, but to deserve this big opportunity as her career start without proving herself.. 😕 Karan deserves all the backlash..

And why exactly should the janta care?
It's his money, he can put it on whoever he wants to.
Idk how it matters to the public about who is acting and which family they belong to as long as they do their job.

People get offended over anything and everything now. We are no one to dictate how someone should use their money.
Itna hi interest hai toh khudh paisa daalo.

Star kids are ok as long as they have some talent. Aamir Khan is a star kid. Ranbir Kapoor is a star kid. Kajol is one. Ajay Devgan. Kareena.

However, I am disappointed with the amount of exposure non star kids get. They are not promoted at all. And some non star kids have bad attitude too. I am missing actors like Madhuri, Juhi, Akshay who are talented and are outsiders.

Karan will have a difficult time being "friends" ever with Kangana.

Only thing left now is to get NEPOTISM tattooed on his forehead! It won't leave him alone.
