Neither have appealed to me but this kind of hate is ridiculous. It's not a crime for them to want to be actors.

Nepotism is perhaps not the right word. It's cronyism. The boy doesn't have to be a star kid to be a KJo crony. Neither does Sid M.
Unfortunately, cronyism has been around since the beginning of the universe. It's just more in our faces where movies are concerned because the movie industry is in our faces more than any other. The problem with KJo is that he doesn't just promote his cronies, he goes out of his way to undercut others.Starting with Kajol, onto the Rabveer vs Ranbir, Ranbir vs. Imran antics. Also, Sonam vs Deepika questions on his show. Then, Alia vs. Parineeti. The subtext in KwK was clear; he expected the industry to support his preferred people. And it's rumored he asked film makers not to hire certain artists.EDITED TO ADD. I'm not denying the talent of his pets. But look at the rivals he pitted them against. They were/are also good actors. He tried his best to bring them down.
