Sid Mal such a bad actor - Page 2

Haven't yet watched the film, but he's got some good reviews for this film.

I've watched all of his films except for Brothers and never found him as bad as people say. I could never say that his presence ruined a film for me. At least he has the persona of a hero, that is his strongest point. I don't think he's out of the world good looking (he's sometimes a yay and sometimes a nay for me) but his demeanour, the way he carries himself, his voice all make him attractive to me. He comes across as very polished and mature unlike most of the other "new gen" actors. I remember crushing on him after watching Hasee Toh Phasee, I really need to see it again ❤️

Not watched the film yet but overall I don't think he's a bad actor. Really liked him in K&S and Brothers.

He's not that bad. I thought he was really good in Villain and some other films.

He's just not shoved down our throats like some others

he definitely isn't as bad as he is made out to be tbh.he's improving with each movie and he really has the potential to make it big.

He is bad actor but I have never been put off a movie because of his acting ever. Not even in his weakest of roles. I guess he has an endearing charm to himself and that makes him likeable to an extent. I think I can bear him onscreen. The same of course cannot be said for his contemporaries like Varun. Varun was good only in two films but even there he was cringe worthy at parts. I couldn't watch his other films(barring SOTY) because of his OTT acting. I think Im the kind who can bear so called non actors like Sid and Kat because of their endearing charm more than those who go crazy OTT unnecessarily like Varun or even Jacqueline for that. And BTW the two films(roles) of Varun I mentioned earlier are Humpty Sharma and Badrinath. Speaking of HTP, I loved Sid and his role more than Pari and again I guess that's because of my preference. Nikhil was seriously the best part of HTP after its music album.

He's a bad actor and tbh I don't see him going anywhere. He's not unbearable, but there is literally nothing to walk away with regarding his performances, nor does he have a single movie that anyone would remember 10 years down the line. It's been 5 years by this point everyone has improved or made some sort of mark.

He is not offensively bad, he is just bland and unremarkable.
