I think in today's world's parents are very hesitant in staying with their daughter after marriage if their daughter is staying with in-laws. I was literally just having this discussion with my family because we have a situation sort of similar to this. If Abhi-Aish were staying on their own then I'm sure Aish's mom would feel more comfortable. But when the daughter is staying with in-laws, I think parents don't feel right moving in with them.

No one wants to give up their independence and live with their children , specially in today's world if there is a choice.

It's good Brinda will move in but it has less to do with aish living wirh in laws and more that she woukd probably want to live independently on her own.

My mither had to strike this balance to take care of her parents and in law too. All of them loved her and cooperated with her. Nine of them wanted to live with her, under her care, full time.

And neither she nor my father wants to live with us full time either. Even though we live on our own , in our own household.

Big B is so smart. He lives in his parents house, his office is in his wife's house so he goes to that place on weekdays, and he greets his fans at his son's house. People get confused when they try to figure out where he lives.

May be Aish's mom does not want to part with her memories and does not want to loose independence.

Abhi-Ash may be staying separately from Sr. Bacchan. But at the end of the day, house belongs to him and still he is not staying with them.

Abhi-Ash must be having their own properties. May be not bungalows, at least apartments.
Aradhya is close to Aish's mother. It will help her.

Ehhh Jaya doesn't live with them & Ash spends most of her time with her mother anyway, much before her's father's demise. I do so like how the ground is being set. 😉

Saki:^Exactly! Apparently Ash has been spending lot more time with her mother since past few years. And why not. I bet she too got fed-up of all this silly Bachchan protocol. i remember that KwK with SBN & Sr where she sounded so exasperated with all these silly protocol rules like how they all have their own embossed stationary, everyone has to mark the papers as read & sign their names as to who has read it. LMAOOO! Even royalty in India doesn't have these silly pretentious rules! But then again, many are too classy for all this nonsense.. The Bs are Indian-sophisticated & impeccably brought up & all that, but deeply hypocritical too.. As if everyone doesn't know that Jaya B doesn't live with them & doesn't gather round on Sunday's or whenever she needs to, for their photo-ops to show the loving, SANSKAARI & super-classy Bachchan family image. 😆 😆
